At first I was really impressed because of how the everything looks and because its kind of original.

But after a while I started thinking that the stock placement is horrible.
Is this what you thought?: Well, I've a few stock images, but I like them all, well, perhaps I should just spread them over the entire design. Yeah, that seems like a great idea

I only like the oil lamp and perhaps the window in the current design. The rest is just not necessary because its just placed randomly in the design.

Perhaps you could add the window to the right side also, but without a ship or a different ship shooting a cannon or something.

Also the "Pirates bloggers" box is to big and should be used for something else perhaps.
If you want to do something REALLY awesome, you should make some splinters and a hole because a cannonball just went through the wall. And perhaps even some water starts the enter the boat/design because the box is at sea level.
That could be a really big challenge for you dude, because I assume you didn't make any of the current stock.
